100 million Turkeys ( and thats in the UK alone)

100 million turkeys were slaughtered for Today
Imagine that huge number
Life snuffed out they pay
A huge price for existence
Poor feathered souls, they do
A short life of vile torture
And dispatched to hell my view
Factory Farming bloody stinks
The people working there are sick
The retailers are soulless
The consumer who does lick
Their fingers as their roasted
And sliced up on their plate
With Brussel Sprouts and Roast Potatoes
And no thought of the awful rate
100 million sweet souls
Killed at Christmas Time
That’s a 100 million wishbones
And just one little rhyme.
