Bulanjao Scar

Bulanjao Scar The Philippines
A Corporate, they came
to a high mountain territory
the inhabitants did inflame
A peaceful caring community
Indigenous, their lives
Shattered by the footprint
Which really clearly drives
A wedge of abject conflict
And For them what can be done
The Ancestral land domain watch
And the giants that over run
A really natural vista
A mountain, both desire
One to live and grow their crops
And the other to set fire
To just destroy the area
Cutting through the great core zones
Destruction guaranteed
For Nickel thats the mineral
And for that so many bleed
The Sumbiling River floweth
Its uniqueness one can see
Creeks and Springs all flattened
Is this how it has to be?
Do we all stand back and let them
Grubby hands and hearts of stone
Eke out the minerals from the rock
And the ove that had been sown
Its isn’t fair, these fat cats
Can come along and end
The life style of so many
Commercial corporates spend
A fortune on the mining
the destruction too will be
pollutive of the environment
for all eternity.

(Nickel is used for various alloys with steel
as stainless steel ands armoured plate
with copper to reinforced pipes,
Finely devided used a a catalyst in the hydrogenation of vegetables oil as process I spent 15 years trying to stop and getting it finally out of the Health Food Trade, it being banned in Organic Processing causing tran fats to occur. Its mined from the rock Pentlandite)
