Elephants

A melee of monsters
And all of them human
Local to where the bold
Elephant lives
Searching for water
Perhaps with her daughter
But up against wickedness
Which sadly survives

Kerala‘S Deception
Comes at a price
Pious inexactitude
Hypocrisy too
It’s killing the elephants
At one a day
Insidious infidels
What do they do

They sugar the pill
With their age old
Connivance
Uncultured bias
Entangle and hold
fraudsters
And swindlers
And there are so many
Killing the wild ones
Worth their weight
In gold

Expunging the angels
Eliminate daily
Soul searching seriousness
Water is all
The elephants want
Yet are killed
Agonisingly
Such marvellous souls
So much blood is spilled
