Warmth

Sea gulls on chimney pots
Often they be
Happening somewhere
Very far from the sea
Nearer an estuary
A perch maybe
Warmer than some
It’s no controversy

Outside my window
Three pots and a cowl
On top of a roof
Where the wind likes to howl
Just down from the mountains
Two birds come sit
It suits them apparently
It’s likened a bit
To sharing it’s daring.
With a fire down below
Sea gulls on chimney pots
Pose risks we know !
