who talk up tradition

who take on  wild foxes wild hares and wild deers

Gentrified robotic  now’t tween  their ears

horses for courses hounds doing the rounds

masked individuals jodhpurs and all

with a whip in their hand and their having a ball

the newish young army

of woodland and field

out in all weathers

trying to build

a splendid consensus

to protect the wild souls

to take on tradition

and exerted controls

to fight the good fight

warriors they

ruled by their hearts

with a will to display

wonderful characters

infinite wealth

mindsets of courage

all done without stealth

they remain in their place

their souls in the job

of protecting the wild souls

to all the saboteurs
