A wet and windy start to Monday
a dankness in the air
the countryside is wringing wet
puddles everywhere
drizzling droplets raininess
the ducks I am sure impressed
as light is coming into play
its an enormous test
for the window panes and the guttering
tempestuous it be
the hedgerows get a battering
squally and blustery
the mountains have gone
just clouds I see
no outline anymore
cyclonic in a truer sense
and a biting wind feels raw
Dolgellau lost in wetness
in drizzle and in spray
it really is a deluge
a real douche of a day.
