The winged engineer

The concept of the honey bee

a dainty creature obviously

a tireless worker honestly

Collecting nectar  consequently

engineers with inspiration

foraging across the nation
in point of fact they are our salvation

pollinating  by creation

six sided cells

with a backward tilt

it cannot  spill out

its expertly built

each cell fits snugly

so much detail

vibration leads us to the trail

a million eggs each queen will lay

progression for each rainy day

for centuries we understand

the bees have

begun to lose command

man plunderer of hives

on this yin substance

who survives

the bee, no hardly man

for sure

by his greed

the bees no more

dying rapidly everywhere

we eat bee food

we rage  our war

on this great beastie

of the hive

whilst ensuring so few  will now survive
