Wolves in Wyoming

Remember the tale of Cody Roberts
Who it’s alleged ran over a wolf
With his snowmobile then killed it later
Seemingly here’s nothing greater
Than a pack of wolves
Wild as the sky
Who lost their endangered species
And the risks now are real high
Seen as predatory animals
Can be killed by baits
And snares
Night hunting with lights
And from helicopter flights
And run over by snowmobiles
Those still unaware

Wyoming should realise once and for all
Wild wolves they truthfully
Answer the call
They warrant protection
They need it they do
Otherwise people like Cody
Hold true
The case against Wolves
Hunt them to death
Let’s hear them howl
And exchange their wild breath

Protect them we avidly
Need them around
They truly are gifted
And it’s great when their found
Too many hunters
Too many snares
Too many baits left
About these affairs
Do need some honesty
Wild souls just need
Some consideration
So they can survive and succeed
