A rabbits eye view

A rabbit
One bold warrior
Raises his sights to see
Utter realisation
Of what it’s going to be
His comrades in the crated place
Others already dead
Intimidation and horror
And the absolute of dread

Imagine the wild heart beating
The blood brain Barrier feels
Torrid trepidation
And of course what that reveals
Massive mortal terror
Blood and snot and more
The walls ahead are stinking
Humanity and law
A total lack of confidence
Let’s hide let’s slink away
The angst around is trembling
Quaking far away
From just around the corner
Anxiety believes
Misgiving and uneasiness
A forward step achieves

Being that seeing Rabbit
That shockingly startling sight
Grisly ghastly go between
The alarmist best take flight
Hair raising flesh creeping
What man does to us
Formidable and frightening
No time to discuss

We quiver and we shiver
Petrified are we
Ominous and gruesome
Intimidatingly
It’s obvious our next life
Is death beyond the pale
A frightfully lurid circumstance
Where everything will fail

Blood and guts and more guts
Incautiousness we see
Every indiscretion
Comes back to frighten me
Seeing is believing
Believing is the end
The shit is coming out of me
