One must always think about
Those criminals out there
The ones who maim and injure
Animals despair
So many pets and wild souls
Seemingly are found
Tortured by vile humans
Murdered and even drowned
Sometimes animals rights crimes
Proceed, other crimes
Against human beings
A sign of the times
Yes this awful progression
It happens and we know
The need is to police all crimes
