Holly

Holly heard my cries for help
An ambulance fairy she
Came from Dunstable Downs I hear
Where gliders you often see
To criss cross skies
Around those parts
And she a driver too
With Gemma seeing to my pain
Holly helped me through

Good at picking out the pot holes
All the blooming way
There’s me in a lot of pain
Country lanes they say
Are rutted and quite bumpy
And Holly knew the way
A quieter girl than Gemma
Studious too I’d say

A kindly heart and caring soul
Thoughtful in every way
Searching out the pot holes
Ensuring that my stay
In the back of her ambulance
Was memorable for me
To see her smiling face
As she left
I do have to agree

Those two ladies were angels in disguise
