A pink and grey barge

A pink and grey barge
Bobs on the sea
Home to the illegal migrants
Who be
Full of irreverent blankness
But who
Find themselves with a welcome
Pack
Yes it’s all true

Portland and Weymouth
Seascapes of old
Nature is welcoming
Wild life is sold
On the batches of goodness knows
Who they all are
Arriving in dinghies
Some from afar

Paperwork ditched
But fresh beds and grub
Doctors on call
It seems it’s a hub
Of expectancy
Just treated like VIP’s
Whilst the people
Look on
With indifference
