Those of us who teach our children
By example, we
Owe so much to the kingdom come
And why it has to be
Shuddering and loathing animosity
Hatred for the natural world
And the precious sea
The insouciance and indifference
So much antipathy
I personally detest the so called traditions
That I see
Such irreverence unimaginably cold
Each grind the youth I see
Tearing holes it’s lunacy
Mothers Fathers Grand Parents
Disrespect and a general constancy
Improvidence each indiscretion
Their desire to be
disgraceful and degrading with such severity
They talk about their ancestors
Let me dare to say
They had more respect for the mammals the hatred I now see
It’s hostility and rancour
It’s misanthropy for sure
So much smouldering anger
Really whats it all for
We are dealing with great mammals
They feel the ardour they
Live their lives with meaning
In an endearing way
Impatient and choleric
Querulous and wrong
Showing savage tempers
Which these days do not belong
Hunting with a gruesome edge
Majoring in hate
The ill will and the balefulness
I so fucking berate
Their methods deep down in my gut
There is never need to show
The families just how sick we are
For a long long time ago
it was not as cruel as now
And they were a bloody sight hungrier
