A great Oak groweth

From a tiny acorn
A century or more years it has seen
A great oak rise into the sky
All these years it has been
Throwing out it’s branches
Putting down its leaves
It’s roots creating majesty
The world around believes
A home to moth and butterflies
To insects birds and more
