Hunting at night in the glare of the lights
Aiming at females as they
Feed in the outbacks shooters. Fingers itchy
Thinking about this all day
Roo’s harvesting greenery
Juicy and sweet
A shot rings out loudly
Far from discreet

Mother and joey dead to the world
