A murmuration of Starlings
Passerine birds that mesmerise
Iridescent markings of green and blue
On black
The sunlight picks up every hue
A rainbow possibly it’s true
Gregarious and noisy
Enchanting feathered souls
They fly in these huge numbers
Their guidance such controls
