Insensitive unthinking abusive harassment
causing considerable afflicted pain
the stress of each moment
the harshness the roughness
harrowing heartbreaking
again and again
on birds that are beautiful
joyful and meaningful
deplorable behaviour for money for gain
such intensity really
it’s hard to believe
people would do this
and cause so much pain
others would buy into Down
as it’s called
ignorantly buying this torture
the pain
not hearing the true screams
the lamentation
blubbering whimpering
all spent in vain
