Hee Haw

Southall Market

93

off to the knackers Yard for me

that great big cloud

was falling fast

my feet were sore

not built to last

my teeth were ropey

the inevitable case

then i found Sue

a brand new base

out of London

to places green

rolling hills

where my dreams had been

fresh sweet air

lush grass green

and friends to be with

which is where I have been

where hearts of gold

took me in

my raucous ways

it did begin

my new life in the countryside

where the raw rich souls

where we all did hide

at Folly’s Farm

such solitude

in life itself i was imbued

brotherly and sisterly

love and care

hee haw thats me

and Sue always there

hee haw goodbye

i had to fly

up on the hill

and away

and why

it was my time

one long goodbye

to all my buddies

here in the sky
