Namibia and Botswana

What is clearly wrong with Africa
The historicity
Gifted wonderful tribes of souls
The animals so free
The tribesman the Indigenous
Its what Africa is about
The people and the countryside
Really who is in any doubt

Politicians where are your brains
Great chiefs once were you
You understood your people
And now what do you do
Think about yourselves too much
The people are a pain
And as for the wild wilderness
It doesnt show the gain

Not piles of ruddy money
Possibly thats true
But what has made your countries
Great
This is the lot of you
The Wild souls the wild people
Africa the proud
Warriors of fortune
Who actually lead the crowd

Immortal and undying
Enduring to the end.
You are both phenomenal nations
With your vigour you can lend
Much to god and country.
Your valleys and your hills
Your people and your animals
Its not the blood that spills

From their wild veins
As licenses you sell to hunters who
Cut down the worthy champions
The wild races so true
The life’s blood of Africa
Is not mining not at all
Ruining the landscape
You must be up the wall

Destruction of the forest
The okavanga will
The Kalahari Bushmen
Why do you want to kill
What is the very essence
This attitude is wrong
Your connectedness to the people
Really must be strong

Forget the foreign influence
The money grabbing mobs
They will rape your countryside
Listen to the sobs
Of the elders in the community
They know a thing or two
They have been around a lifetime
Watching what you do

Sacrifice our nation
Watch the animals die
See the land all poisoned
Hear your children cry
AFRICA PROUD AFRICA
Who god gifted so much to
Is being plundered don’t you see
What these corporations do
