Another dead dolphin

Try to imagine the spirit
The life’s blood
Enduring and breathing
Essentially so
In the blue salty ocean
So much devotion
Noose sandy beach
Facing North as we know
All that blueness
A gentleness soft salty spray
A gentle persuasion
A net, Can’t get away
Chaos and mayhem
Disharmony
Embroilment and panic
Shackled and made to pay
Snagged up and unhappy
Thwarted lets say
Caught in a shark net
Choking away
Obstructed impeded
Muzzled and gagged
Entangled forever
And nothing flagged
Since 2001
1366 have had the same treatment
Under the sun
The sunshine coast
Paradise lost
1176 dying
Thats a high cost
Aerial shark drones
Would be safer, they
Would save all these animals
Lost in the spray
Dolphins are vital
And seeing them die
And knowing their agony
We must ask why
Caught in a net
All its trammels pulled tight
However one struggles
It never feels right
A stranglehold pulling
Repressed all the way
To a dark frustration
To feel the dismay
The strife and the tussle
The thrust and the fray
Capitulation
A passive display
Lost just withdrawing
Surrendering you
Killed by a shark net
And in full view
