The Moose

A magnificence about the Moose
A new world deer they be
Solitary animals
With a shyness commonly
This poor soul now
Lying spreadeagled on the ground
With a deviant on top of him
I gaze and know I have found

A bragging boastful gloating creep
Whose aberration here
Whose morality is shot away
Whose arrogance is clear
Contempt for one superior
In every single way
Shameless with a blatancy
That can never go away

The audaciousness and insolence
And the total disrespect
An inimical aberration
Clearly left unchecked
Incompatible with wildness
at loggerheads with life
A narrow minded aggressor
Who participates in strife

The Moose a glorious creature
Spirited and true
A wanderer and philosopher
Knows what he is meant to do
He lives up to his standard
A godly soul indeed
Humbled by his title
His lineage indeed

A noble one his ancestry
Comes from an unbroken line
Clearly top drawer quality
His open antlers fine
Open hand shaped he is
Of regent descent
And here he lies degraded
By the hunter clearly spent

Demented and dishonoured
Vile in every way
Despicable and characterless
What he does today
Clearly his withered laurels
His notoriety
Explicitly indignant
A badge of infamy

Displayed for all who witness
The stooping prostrate sod
Ingratiating himself there
A freak who has no god
A boorish thoughtless infidel
Who unchivalrous display
Whose loutish mannerless insult
Clearly he will pay

We all share a loathing
A repugnance for this act
An odious unlovable
Offensive it’s a fact
Nauseating execrable
We need to turn away
That his blasphemous monster
Is human and will lay

There perhaps forever
His wrathful was we feel
Just I’ll will and enmity
And now he tries to steal
A march on this great angel
Of the boreal forest who
Has gone off to the Rainbow Bridge
To do what he must do
