RUBY

At the forest edge
A disused well
Very deep
Where A bitch had fell
Into the shaft
And onto the floor
With water and rubbish
She cried and more
She sobbed all day
She sobbed all night
Slimier she became
In fright
Alone and nothing to eat down there
Animals aid unlimited care

They brought a sling
And 4 men came
One hitched up
Clearly was game
To reach the bottom
And save her, he
Did just that
And apparently

She had no injuries
From the fall
And down there
It was very cool
She did have water
Just no food
But was saved today
And she was subdued

Until her rescuer came in sight
Then she groaned
From a height
His legs a dangling
and she knew
She would be saved
And was happier too
