“Jaanu”

Imagine how sore
nd bow very raw
A huge strip of skin from his side
Found on the street
Calm and complete
Found by a wonderful guide
And carer and taken
To hospital and there given
Oodles of care
Everyone kissing him patting him
Loving him
Sharing in his true despair

Washing and cleaning
And healing and curing
bandaging making it known
That he would soon be
Much better and we
Could see it and never a moan
He took it all calmly
Despite being sore
A real little warrior
He was for sure
