Julian

There are pangs of utter jealousy
Emananting here
From half the world’s corrupted
And their lackeys who in fear
Discriminate disgracefully
And wilfully neglect
Malingerers in shadowy haunts
Who get away unchecked

With a traction of true treachery
They are injurious and wrong
Picking on an angel
From where he does belong
In high regard and true esteem
In awe and veneration
Instead he is a prisoner
Subject to humiliation

The truth hurts
All these liars and vagabonds
About running corporations
Offhanded and tbey doubt
An honest mans credentials
His scrupulosity
His candour and his faithfulness
To crown and to country

The villains out there in high office
Shaking in their shoes
Palm-greasing venality
Who havent got two clues
On what its like to be honest
With a moral rectitude
With character and integrity
Unlike the grey suit brood

House arrest they force him
Thanks to Ecuador
Who gives him some salvation
Although they still could give him more
They are remorseless in their dishonesty
Countries of the West
Who strut about accusing
And start wars that divest

The truest bluest leaders
Regime change comes along
Oil the greatest magnet
Its where the ghouls belong
The frackers and their backers
Big pharma men of steel
Unashamed and conscienceless
Who really can not feel

Ever apologetic
Found guilty Doom and gloom
Detention and committal
His punishment does loom
Over him and his family
With a big price on his head
For telling truths and standing by
And his reward just dread

The nobel peace prize
Has his name written on it he
Is a worthy winner
A man in history
That outshines all his captors
All those who put him down
The government the arse lickers
And the british crown

Julian is my hero
Hallowed be his name
He stands there in the limelight
And takes all the blame
The self-indulgent ego-centric
Politicians who
Lie right from their back teeth
That is what they do

And the angel is demon
An angel that he be
He has his code of honour
And is gentlemanly
He has cause to be upset
His freedom tossed away
Corruption at his doorstep
Ready to make him pay

For me and I am sure there are others
JulIan we care
We worry about your state of mind
And whether you are aware
Of the pigsty they call parliament
And all thats going on
With brexit and with Mrs May
Since sir you have been gone

A man of our time
Respected by many
