Captivity

You came from the ocean
And where are you now
In a tank made of concrete
But tell me how
Can you live in an enclosure
With no life around
Just the strong smell of chlorine
And the audience sound

Life it was everywhere
That energy
Wonderment honestly
Just being free
To roam where I wanted
To feed anytime
To sample the sea weed
To dive and to climb

Now its a tank
Nothing living at all
No shells and no fishes
No aquatic call
The sounds of the ocean
The wind From above
Being with my mother
Who showed me her love

No one to talk to
Just the morons who throw
The dead fish still iced up
Who dont want to know
I swim in a poo tank
No where else to go
Round and round its so boring
Its like a yo yo

I want to get out of this alien place
No one to fight with
No one to chase
No bubbles to blow
Nothing to see
But four walls and chipped paintwork
Thats where I be

And the loud speakers
That music they play
It buggers my sonar up
There is no way
I can stay in this tank
That why I leapt
Over the wall
I was feeling adept

The thud on the floor
It was such a shock
My whole body ached
And those cretins that flock
Around they are aliens
Humans oh no
Moronic shape shifters
They are psycho

How is it deemed fair
This captivity
For a dolphin that swims
Very far out to sea
Down to the bottom and back up
To the sky
Chasing the boats
And Wondering why
Here in this bath tub
I must get away
Go down to the bottom
And make myself stay

It is the best
Sea world for me
Is bloody great corporate
Whose insanity
Provides for these nincompoop people
Who be

Buying their tickets
Eating their sweets
The smell of their burgers
Really defeats
All of the oxygen That does abound
And the perfume soaked girls
Who Just stand around

Thats why I leapt
