At back block and fringes
Of Phnom Penh in Cambodia today
DOgs are on the menu
Sadly I have to say
Its borders are with Thailand
LAos and Viet Nam
Eaten as ancient medicine
Where various places cram
40 to 80 dogs a day
Its torture for some
Who have their feet cut off their legs
The pain of that is some
Vile abomination
That diners do believe
By eating living dogs feet
Healing doth relieve
Wounds within their bodies
And then dog dishes will
Create in them some strengthening
Culturally will instil
In them some honest healing
This is what they say
And Marc Ching discovered
Some victims
On his victims the other day
Seeing these poor animals
Languishing in pain
Knowing that they would
Perish before the mornings rain
Detached now from reality
Expecting the worst
Hearing the noisy diners
And feeling completely cursed
Coconut dog curry
Dog meat sour soup too
With red ants a speciality
Flame grilled dog
I am through
With all this ugly evil
And leaving dogs in pain
Bleeding waiting hating
Their lives now all in vain
This area is iniquitous
To what is eaten by
The people Laos and Thailand
And VIetnam all high
Consumers of dogs and wild animals
Its how the people feel
To me they are deranged I think
And they never could appeal
To me, thank goodness Marc CHing
Was on hand to take away
The two dogs that were living still
And who wouldnt have to pay
With their lives, he would save them
From certain Agony
The others all would be eaten
And never again be free
