The wolf man

First you learn their language
Then you learn to be
Really understanding
Living in the free
Remember a wolf is in the flow
Lucid living in the now
Aware that they do know

There is a hierarchy
A kind of grading scheme
You need to be an alpha
Wonderment and dream
A magickal disposition
An instinctive knowledge too
An extraordinary being
One of the very few

And you must understand them
Be on their level for they
Do not take to the arrogance
You need to get to lay
On the ground beside them
And share some meat you bring
You need to learn their language
And howl as if you are king

In Germany an ex marine
Known as the great wolf man
Spends a lot of time with wolves
Lets say he is their fan
He nuzzles up beside them
And pulls flesh off the bone
And he doesnt fear them
Even when alone

He says he understands them
Though Humans not at all
He slept with wolves for many years
And answers when they call
He knows that farmers hate them
And will shoot them given a chance
Because they fail to understand them
There is no song and dance

Wolves are very serious
They have their jobs to do
No one gives them a second look
And very very few
Humans understand them
Or even are aware
That wolves do not attack at all
Actually they care

Sheep and calvaes rhey will bring down
For certain that is prey
They are where creation put them
And if you put in their way
Food thats other animals
Then you must expect that they
Will use god given tactics
To hunt them right awAy

Force them into a corner
Thats a different story
They will come out fighting
Thats their way to glory
As for all the other stuff
In fairy tales we must
Realize that red riding hood should be
Treated with digust

It was written out of prejudice
For a wild soul and we all
Should consider that wild animals
Are dangerous but will haul
Their butts out of your way dears
Unless Some of you
Walk blindly through the forest
As many of you do

Then if they are with their families
They may threatened be
And retaliate and harm you
For remember they are free

Spirits and because of that it is us
That have to be
Observant and respectful
Of what might be behind a tree
