Where has my valley gone

All I see where I saw a great vision
Is a great cloak of ebony descending
My eyes cannot pierce the darkness any longer
all I know is the scene is unending
It sweeps out before us it’s there all the time
Night holds the power to renew
Everything sleeps for the soul in all reaps
Involvement in all that we do
