A very big family
Of apples on show
I must give them support
If they now are to grow
The Blenheims a giant
A half a kilo
Deliciously ancient
Tart yes but you
Know a complex fruit
With its acidity
With a great hint of sweetness
And cooked it can be
Perfect.
The Golden Delicious
Are small
A little bit crabby
But wild fruit are all
They ever were cracked up to be
To be sure
Sweet and delectable for ever more
