Terrier men

They love seeing dogs work
These terrier men
Sadistic and cruel
Now frankly when
Would you contemplate seeing them
The early morn
Late on Summer evenings
But let me warn

They can be with local hunts
Or controllerS of pests
If they go underground
We need some arrests
The foxes and rabbits
And badgers too
Are torn out and killed
And are tortured all through

It’s terrier quarry
They are after today
Watching them at it
There is so much dismay
For it’s the brutality
The spitefulness
For they enjoy digging
And causing much stress

They are into the blood sports
It’s what turns them on
They will carry spades
Normally upon
Their Person a spoon or a Bertha maybe
For in frozen ground it’s a bugger you see

Often they are driving a four by four
Their dogs maybe scarred
Around the nose and the jaw
And Be very aggressive
Straining at the lead
Unusual shaped teeth
Helps them to succeed

These dogs gets infections so
What you might find
Is antibiotics
It all blows my mind
The level of cruelty happening today
At the hunt often afterwards
That’s what they say

As for the wild souls
It really must be
Absolute agony
For they are free
Wild sons and daughters
Who clamber and Spring
Dug out of the earths
Where in fact they are king

Torn half to bits
Stamped on on the ground
We are dealing with shit heads
That’s what I have found
I once saw some in Sussex
A long time ago
Who work like the clappers
At digging you know

Some have a Debden box
A radio thing
A sort of receiver
They get a fling
From the frequency sent out
When the dogs underground
It’s all pretty gruesome
That’s what I have found

In this day and age
To be seeing such stuff
A countryside pastime
I have had enough
Whatever Cameron reckons is right
Fox hunting with hounds
In this country is blight
And watching the sadists
Dig in the earth
And capture a fox
Who has so much worth
Not for tails or its fur
But it’s spirit too
And the Badger and Rabbits
Who are tortured all through
