A doctor so incensed by
the extraordinary events

and fisherman were sure
that bodies and parts of bodies
were clearly mighty strange
was there some other creatures
right out of the range

and extrapolation too
was getting the better of science
unsure of what to do
clearly they were legitimate
pitch changes seemed to say
that whatever was communicating
in a very elaborate way

spears were being found as well
weaponry of sort
an unexplained phenomena
something now was caught
up in the whole web itself

in motion by the powers to be

their imaginations wander
prehistory might show
how human beings held their breath
and shed their hair for we know

its conceivable we entered
the ocean as a trial
after all a storehouse
why be in denial
and could it be in some deep spot
possibly today
creatures as yet unidentified
could be out there in the bay

accompanying the great whales
the dolphins even they
could see a form of relationship
making hunting pay
so much of our oceans still
have never been explored
and I am certain their are species
that may have underscored

may have simply wanted
to stay hidden as they knew
man is anything but kind
and we know that this is true
the secret world of weaponry
is opening its doors
and showing off its findings
alas without applause

evolving from those first apes
who plunged into the brine
possibly new beings
whose lives were on the line
these sound waves were so violent
they were murderous as well
ugly evil walls of sound
apparently from Hell

many findings surfaced
body parts were found
remnants inside great white sharks
who have been around
a body was discovered
though thought a Mannatee
it could have been the animal
but it was not to be

its anatomical make up
not of a cetacean
this was more in human terms
a kind of wild salvation
that took the hearts of some
and let the case be known
that we are killing creatures
that now have been shown

they have hands and even fingers
even a forehead plate
rib cages and tail flukes
a blow hole one might rate
hidden in the shadows
far below the sea
bonding with cetaceans
the mer tribe they could be

and these navy weapons could have
drawn them from the deep
if the navy had been forthcoming
how their rotten seeds did reap
a find of such enormity
the doctor took on board
the evidence the reasoning
and approach it with accord

had they wanted to stay hidden
there are many accounts and we
like wolves and other species
we demonise and be
talking up the fairy tales
it is what humans do
privileged information
which probably is true

watching in the oceans
