Affection is is what babies need
The dairy though creates
An evil and place of suffering
Behind its noxious gates
Of such insensibility
Run by the unconscious who
Provide such ugly suffering
And an agony thats true
Their life is one long pained ordeal
With most now clueless to
Those calves they have no mother
No friends abandoned they
They are never safe
No one loves them
Each hour brings more dismay
The dairy workers are all shits
Allowing thus to be
How they earn their money
For its not how it should be
Whether veal or dairy
Or rennin for the cheese
These animals are butchered
The sane fall on their knees
Crying out loud to their gods
Hoping they will appease
But there can be no forgiveness
For this shattering cruelty
All dairies are so scandalous
Why this misery
Kidnapped from their mothers
That bond is severed by
The ugliness of the Dairy
Who will not hear them cry
Drunken on the profits
Seeing only one
Thing the bloody bottom line
Good thoughts they just have none
The calves may lick each other
A kind of love and care
Tasting and not wasting
Their lasting which they share
The comfort and the solace
The angst the gravity
Being so thoroughly joyless
In a state of depravity
So you the unconscious human
Can shuffle to the store
And buy your wretched white veal
And scoff it more and more
Or is it milk and cream and yoghurt
Is that the stuff you eat
Or the stomach of a one week calf
For the rennet of the elite
For the Cheese Boards of the toffs
Of the so called ploughman’s they
Like their milky goodness
and the pickle of the day
The weeping and the wailing
Of the babies in their stall
Chaining up by the neck they are
Chafed so as a rule
Absolutely sore and bleeding
They cannot move an inch
Look at their doleful faces
Its pathetic every pinch
Moan groan sigh and blubber
Snivel whimper whine
And all so we can scoff our kefir
Somewhere down the line
The calf they get no milk from mum
Unless they will be veal
Then its sloppy milky shit
That will of course conceal
The antibiotics the other crap
Its what the dairy does
Totally uninspired they are
Not even a buzz
Can be heard inside this evil place
These smelly stalls so small
Hideously designed to harm
Or even hear the call
Its loathsome to imagine
The unprepossessing way
That Farmers make their profit
And just go on their way
The beauty of each baby
Is wasted and is led
Screaming to the slaughterhouse
Many underfed
Vulgar such a life of comfortless despair
Full of mortal terror
And the fear thats always there
The dread of this existence
The abject want of fear
Haunted and terror ridden
Nothing is now clear
So much indiscretion
And indifference alas
And kept in shitty conditions
In what is a vast morass
The dairy and the veal yards
The babies they lament
But they keep their reputation
As if they were heaven sent
They are a bunch of swindlers
Of criminals galore
They are a cruel and nasty lot
And I have to ask what for
For the milk of human kindness
For cadbury’s and the rest
All that pain and suffering
Of course I do detest
And the holier than thou
Vegetarians
Who sup upon the teat
And scoff the babies stomach
On the rarebit that they eat
Don’t humiliate my spirit
With your condescending stance
Blushed and crushed and looking flushed
We do not stand a chance
Causing so much cruelty
To babies to baby cows
And to their darling mothers
Who so lament for hours
