A Fun thing to do on the farm

Why are farmers so damned ignorant
It must be that they drink
Cows milk its no other reason
Nod nod wink wink wink
They see a calf is nursing
And the mother is just there
And they need some real nutrition
And they want to share

Thats the way of nature
But not the way today
Because humans are more cow like
And of course they pay
Buying 4 pints at the super store
And the calf must thus be made
To leave the mother well alone
Because its not good trade

And so they buy a weaning plate
With nodules and with spikes
And when the hungry calf wants milk
Its not what mother likes
To have the plate a scratching at her udders
How unfair
To even think of denying the calf
The milk she wants to share

The farmer hopes the plate does not
Hurt the udder
He has no care for the calf alas
How sad can one be
The weaning plate he refers
To as a fun thing on the farm
Is fun in fact to deny a baby
Its mothers milk and harm

The mother with these torture plates
For that is what they are
Torturing the mother
And her baby
What a star!

This farmer is, and the others
What a lousy sod
To go and buy a torture plate
Call HATHOR tell her what you have done
And really hope to god

She doesn’t take it out on you
For this is evil stuff
Of The dairy please be wary
For I have seen enough

The calf will get his marching orders
The slaughterhouse is where
He must go for you want his milk
And he feels the despair
Carted like a sack of bricks
Off to the abattoir
Throat slit goodbye baby
Dont tell me where you are

Because I love my dairy ice
My dairy chocolate too
i love my fine greek yoghurt
All made of milk for you
i love my cheese and biscuits
I love the cream with tea
As for you dear little calf
When you die just think of me

If you take dairy milk and this upsets you

Good it bloody well should x
