Eyes

Eyes
They are just everywhere
Rooted to our brain
All seeing on the surface
Bulbous slit and in pain
Moons in spacial harmony
Or pockets of desire
Emitting light like crazy
And sometimes even fire

All sorts of natural colours
Pigments from the sky
Artificial elements
That sadly are a lie
The passage to the soul tis said
Lies behind the light
And the Dawn of our salvation
That is in fact the night

Such amazing understanding
Such emotion there within
A sentience so beautiful
And an effusiveness to win
The heart of any other eye
That ever came to be
Looking into your eyes
With sensitivity
