Its an attitude adjuster
And it comes with all the lustre
What its going to do for horses
In the long term, they
Will all be less aggressive
And anything but obsessive
Its all about the humans
Transgression for the day

It has nothing to do with the horse though
Just concern for number one
You may have mares around the yard
And having a stallion working hard
Maybe thats why its done

But actually its an unnatural thing
To geld a horse and try and bring
Its bad behaviour into line
Really its an unhappy sign
What is best is to let it be
Let it be wild effectively
Gelding it limits its potential urge
Restraining all that dramatic surge

Kills its spirit and hardens the case
I actually think for the human race
And this dear horse died its death
Gave up the charge of sharing breath
A broken heart i think thats so
As for the owner she should know
And she should feel
What we know is real
