Street dogs in Shiraz

In Shiraz vile injections
Of burning acid kill
Listen to those unfortunate dogs
Their final cries they will
Haunt those hearing for a lifetime
Such torment and such stress
Contractors hired to murder them
Couldn’t care a less

The torment of the century
The ugliness the pain
Iran fed up with all these dogs
Driven half insane
By lack of food and water
Its hell for them to bear
Their agony is pitiful
Is nobody aware

They are innocent lost boys
Out there
Wagging tails though still
As the vile contractors
Inject them
With the poison that does kill

It clearly is excruciating
Of malevolent intent
For they scream blue murder every time
As their eyes close and they are sent
Anywhere but on the street of Shiraz
Thats the test
Street dogs murdered everyday
And not one soul feels blessed
