Lead

It makes no ruddy sense at all
The NRA must overhaul
Their ignorant approach to life
Their arrogance creating strife
We poison wild souls and we feel
Little for them, though they conceal
The agony and the vilest pain
Delivering toxins is insane

Animals have their instinctive soul
Pre-programmed to care and take on
Their role
the environment
That we all share
Is looked after by them
Everywhere

Man un kind, the hunters
Who
indulge in death
Where very few
Remember bullets and sinkers
As such
Are made of lead
This is a much

More toxic product than many know
It’s killing us slowly
Though it may not show
It affects us seriously
We suffer the pain
Really and truthfully
No one does gain

Lead is a toxin and it’s use
Truthfully is a straight abuse
Water birds ingest it they
Die they die, those poor souls pay
We shoot them and some eat them too
And so the lead gets into you
Into the unborn foetus yes
Many shooters will not guess

The problems of the unborn child
Is because of them
They were defiled
So ingesting lead kills humans too
Fish and birds and babies who

Have to suffer the awesome thrust
Of poisoning which does disgust
Bismuth costs a lot I hear
Ten times as much as lead
It’s clear

The hunter is a sicko who
Thinks more of his pocket
Than me or you
Wild life regularly
Die a death
And pollute the land
And forgo pure breath

So much agony so much pain
It costs the earth
Are we insane
The anglers angle
The rifleman shoot
The environment suffers
Leads at the root

Of yet more loss to
The feral soul
As man un kind
Loses control
The EPA have got to win
This battle this war
That really is sin
