Those bloody hunts

Theres’s a snobbery and a pomposity
Almost a class consciousness
The swaggering of the hunters
Their hangers on too seem
Authoritative and bloody condescending
A puffery that needs a bloody team
And a Dressing down by the constabulary
But of course whether it’s the
Corporate base exerting
Or the police been told to turn a big blind
Eye
These hunting people truly need
Their arses kicked for actually
They have no respect for others
Which is why

They trespass over independent land
And those landowners
Getting them embroiled in costs
To safeguard their previous land
Their livestock and their domestic animals
For hunters will run roughshod
Then fail to understand
Horses get so stressed out
By packs of baying hounds
Tearing over property
It costs us pounds and pounds

the hunters often are not
Even present they are away
And that’s how hounds get out of hand
And then their supporters are the mainstay
Threatening given half the chance
Or trespass that’s for sure
They think they have the right to do
Whatever and some more

They terrorise the stables
The farm the house maybe
Your own pet dogs
Can get caught in the general melee
They say that they just lay a trail
But it’s cobblers for we see
Them hunting and there’s nothing
And there no where where we can hope to be

The police are just nonchalant
Which says to us that they
Really have to ignore it
It then might go away
And intimidation is coming
And you will be forced to pay
They Treat you like a pariah
And really that’s no way

2 Fingers and the like
They may not serve you in some shops
Treat you like a tike
For shooters and these hunters
Are a law unto themselves
It’s elitist snobbery
And something I don’t like

The light blues want to bring it back
But we shall all say NO
Fox hunting must never be repealed
It’s the hunts that have to go
