Taiji Protest 7/11

Our peaceful protest took on a great energy

today

despite the cold wind and the traffic

we came to have our say

we came to heighten awareness

of the  violence in Taiji

the turmoil and the ferment

and the roughness that we see

playing out there daily

in JAPAN its was our quest

to stop the dolphin slaughters

and get this hell redressed

a lot of people came from far off places

to be there

dont talk of the 8 million

those that are aware

came to help the others

to realize the score

and if you like stand up with us

and protest even more.

the ball of blood flag

evidence that the japanese do to

think of blood when  hanging

it

as they always do

our constant affirmations

1500 strong

is telling the great universe

what is going wrong

incessant were the chants

they continued throughout the day

and this is making headrow

into the psyche and does play

a part now in all of this protest

for the dolphins have a need

to swim in toxic waters

but not to perish and to bleed

to swim in the blood of their families

this is totally insane

imagine the horror

the vehement disdain

its  tyrannical, its oppressive

its  a rampage much too far

and yet its happening in Taiji

an overwhelming scar

on humanity, its ugly its as vile

an act as we

could ever stoop to conjur

in our  pits of misery

its violence for the sake of it

on highly gracious souls

so sentient beyond the human realms

we exact controls

we delve into their  sonic sphere

and disrupt it with our pipes

complicity  through simplicity

with complex yet brutal swipes

then herd them into Taiji

whole families bent on joy

on commitment and on learning

such deviousness we employ

their gallantry is unspoken of

but they are heroic and

the Japanese exploit them

of course thats out of hand

the destruction of the family

in a maelstrom of  such pain

to sabotage their feelings

the perdition of our gain

the upheaval is so radical

a cataclysmic  turn

there is no way back

they must try to save each other

so we learn

each one is a hero

and each one it will die

murdered by the  antipathy

and disfavour that does lie

clearly in the hearts of those

whose business is to kill

an aversion for such  sensitivity

and one that will

much more true resentment

from the angels in the midst

who feel and see the agony

and who to now resist

there is a wave of love and care

emanating out

1500 protesters

know what its about

they came together

from every walk of life

to be as one

they made the protest happen

with joyfulness and fun

The police I thought were admirable

courteous as they

plunged into a  melting pot

but managed it all day

smiles were ever present

their mood was always kind

and that was because the protest

was the best that you can find

the message it was evident

and we all picked up on it

the benevolence of sharing

thats where it did sit

I made a point of telling

the officers that they

came across as genuine

and that too made my day

a really good cross section

of the public came to be

and many many brochures

were taken avidly

the public  they were positive

for the energy was there

it was positive it was goodly

and given to all to share

megaphones were blaring

whistles and horns and drums

voices rang out as to what it was about

though the cold wind yes it numbs

the feet and got some dancing

increasing the energy

the Japanese can be in no doubt

and truthfully begin to see

it was all about commitment

and honouring the cause

we stoodfast in that busy place

and hardly did anyone pause

a lot of support from the  vehicles

that happened to pass by

masses of varied hoots  we heard

floating to the sky

the mercilessness of the Taiji  people

hiding what they do

pithing the creatures under the tarps

changing the cove from blue

from the aquamarine and the sunlight

into a hell hole of red

victims expecting their slaughter

swimming through blood till their dead

there is no emotion to ever imagine

swimming in your lovers blood

the blood of your children

there are no words

being caught up in that flood

and their limbic minds are much more advanced

than ours, so  this torture is vast

they are not after biting the fisherman who

are now in the water trying to screw

the life out of them

no they do not attack

for within and without

such evil they lack

saving each other

not retaliation

peacefulness and joy

their whole creation

based on community

with human kind

who have proved to be

devils with  the more spiteful mind

divorced from this scenario

the embassy who

stood many pole faced

as dignitaries do

but even they took photographs

of the crowd

and video’s too

for they were very loud

where was

the press

the guardian the mail

where was the BBC

how they do fail

this was a great crowd

that went on all day

but the media all of them

scuttled away

they do not cover dissension

oh no

the truth of the matter

they do not go

where the action  and energy

paths are so high

where messages  reach up into the sky

where nothing is contrived

where it comes from the soul

where its isn’t staged managed

and the only goal

is to stop killing dolphins

in far off Japan

all of the media people

they plan

OTHER AGENDAS

to do more with fear

than the great positivity

engendered here

and Ric O Barry

the great man was there

breathing the great wall

of love and despair

feeling the emotions

sharing the care

soaking it up

yes we all could share

the limitless love

the amazing belief

that Taiji ‘s vile exploits

do create such grief

but where there is energy

that all can feel

there is hope

and that hope

is coming for real

thanks for the soul on the stilts

what an art

thank you to all of you

straight from my heart
