Waste of precious resources

the Corporate stance in this modern age

is one of massive power

its base is unbelievable

its arrogance is how

it manifests its intentions

it does what it wants to do

its all driven by  profit

it extracts from souls like you

fracking deals with resources

air and  water  those

precious life giving energies

that truthfully now pose

serious implications

to all of us alive

for wasting them

on production

means some of us won’t survive

but we are not in important

the people matter less

its all about the energy

its the energy they stress

its  investment and its profits

the local people are

just pawns upon a chess board

in the boardrooms of the tzar

air we need it desperately

without breath we are lost

and water fresh clean water

the need is there the cost

of wasting vast amounts of it

on fracking and the rest

of contaminating a lot of it

puts us all on test

millions of gallons of water

are needed to work the mines

in places where the drought has bitten

there are growing signs

that everything is suffering

as the barons do their thing

draw off precious water

and pollute it

which does bring

protest from the farmers

and from city dwellers who

cannot get their quota

and know not what to do

and all the while the corporations

steal this sweet resource

and waste it and pollute it

and ruin it at source

whoever really looked at this

took the road to hell

they knew somewhere along the line

oh yes they knew this well

the geologists would have told them

but the corporate view’s about

profit for their backers

and that’s without a doubt

they are powerful people

monsters in fact they

care nothing for nobody

and those around who say

fracking is a wasteful game

and shouldn’t be allowed

well they are seen as the enemy

of the state

and are over powered

the corporate world is ruling

governments as well

the people do not matter

the signs are that they spell

disaster for the common man

and women on the scene

our future it looks dismal

and very far from green

submissiveness  is called for

obedience for they

the parasitic spongers

want to have their day

they want to see us grovel

they want to see us feel

that life is what they make of it

and we stay under their heel

we take what little is given

we remain servile

they decide the outcome

we are all on trial

its a kind of new nobility

the corporate bloodstock who

are the aristocracy

and there’s nothing we can do

we are the proletariat

the commoners the slaves

treated just like riff raff

uncultured almost knaves

and where it now is going

as the people wake and see

the fabric torn away from them

they realize and be

frightened by the vision

painted in the sky

they are worried for their future

and most now wonder why

they slept so long through all of this

they didn’t see the dawn

so taken for granted

all they did was yawn

their way through all the crisis

imagining that they

could blame this that or other

and just go on their way

the corporation structure

has sent its fingers through

every branch of life we know

they know what they do

they provide a web of services

a sort of matrix where

the agents are the trusted ones

and the rest of us arn’t there

we are sort of programmes

slaves in many ways

we all  do, what we are told

that’s the common phase

our food our air our water

is rationed actually

doctored with the chemicals

that rain down now daily

we are being manipulated

by the corporate state

robotic digital pathways

the corporates create

and we are left to suffer

the vagaries of now

and many of us waking up

realize now how

everywhere is militarized

wars blaze on and on

all we thought we worked for

all our lives

 may be gone

the stuff of life

is being usurped

before our eyes

and for many on this planet

its a hell of a  surprise
