Kiska on death row 40 years

Captured 40 years ago

from the wild of Iceland, she

was taken to Marine land in Canada to be

their prisoner arrested just for being free

a hostage for no reason

a convict actually

a slave their slave to work all day

to entertain and be

beholden to the corporation

for all eternity

Canada pursued her

trapped her made her be

that prisoner that bloody slave

she never would be free

again to sail the ocean

to swim and be at play

she would have to be their slave

with her freedom would have to pay

she has had to mother 5 calves

all have died

Athena was the last one

at 6 years she did glide

back down to the Summerlands

she’d given up for she

was saddened by her mothers loss

of honest liberty

and now she pines in loneliness

inside the concrete tank

dreaming of her babies

and of her life now rank

with misfortune and with sadness

and waits for her time to come

hopeful she can join her babies

and becoming  numb

to the human prison she’s been forced

to stomach night and day

at least a sea pen would be better

the price she’s had to pay

immense in real terms actually

when Marine Land took control

and they intervened in her destiny

when they stole her soul
