Pigs are getting a bad time almost everywhere

172 farms were inspected

60 activists were then applied

what they saw

was terrible almost beyond words

any sensitive soul

was bound to cry

these were little animals

born to die

created by a higher force

but man then did apply

to take their short lives over

and torture them at will

to fuck with what is husbandry

and then of course just kill

reality shows madness

screaming dark despair

reality is shocking

it really is not fair

in all the farms they visited

terror was at

a height

biting bars and waging war

and all without sun light

little piglets trod on beaten

hammered so

their bodies smashed against the ground

and left whimpering below

it happens behind closed doors

and that in just one year

corpses litter all these farms

flyblown too its clear

hell on earth we’ve made it so

they eat each other they

are so crammed into cages

listened to the animals

and things were far from bright

what we do to animals in farms

has got to be

the latest holocaust my friends

just because, you fail to see

what happens to the pork

before your fork collects the lean

and shoves it in your cake hole

is altogether mean

a frighteningly horrific saga

to be sure

where piglets die in their thousands

on the dirty floor

and these are gentle creatures

cleaner than human kind

they enjoy the sunlight on their backs

not this awful grind

screaming chewing on the bars

going mad with rage

watching their offspring murdered

you don’t have to be a sage

to see the awful pictures

and to understand the pain

the disrespect we show them

the irreverence, its insane

to imagine pigs can understand

and realize how wrong

its all one sided evil

and it surely doesn’t belong

its intolerable behaviour

to persecute and breed

to carry out atrocities

for where does all this lead?

it leads to a tragic life for them

and their flesh must take a turn

consumers they must realize

or someday they will learn

how unhealthy pig meat has become

through the husbandry and pain

of keeping pigs in CAFO’s

where the soul and spirit drain

away and where humanity

becomes the spiteful way

creating malediction

where all consumers pay
