Sheep who went to Cambridge

The were raised in New Zealand

and shipped all the way

to Cambridge for testing

and so made to pay

a very high price

which ended in their

death very tragically

who was aware?

the Home Office, clearly

gave license but they

suffered and radically

too, by the way

some lost their sight

implanted  too

one broke its leg

because what we do

some look away

they say

sheep well so what

some do not know

what a sad life they’ve got

at the hands of researchers

at university

who do what they like

which is sadly to me

a real understatement

for cruelty shows

and their so called research

what does it pose

nothing consequential

nothing at all

just torture and suffering

which does appal

then kill them

thats sad

what had they done

created for life

to be out in the sun

not locked in crush cages

and given  hell

to me this is sicker

than what they would sell

and it, keeps on happening

day after day

and animals suffer

this isn’t the way

we mustn’t use cruelty

that will not do

creation won’t let us

discover its true

its so wrong to do this

to innocent souls

and the Home Office really

must tighten controls

bring in some sentences for those who do

torture and kill sheep

there   that’s my view

because they wear white coats

they imagine that they

can do what they like

as long as, other pay
