The wicked smile but the world can see the evil in their hearts

A majestic beast

lies quietly

his mouth propped open

to

show his massive molars

and imagine

what they might do

crunching down on a hunter

its all about abuse

its giving us an impression

creating a vile ruse

2 hunters with their weapon

high powered there it be

and standing in the rear

those ghastly one’s we see

a couple

clearly wicked

heinous, fallen souls

their shamelessness apparent

they took their graceless roles

and shot this powerful being

why would they do this to

a river horse a massive soul

now we see in full view

2 hunters so called sinful

suggesting they were bold

courageous even amazing

on murder they were sold

was it that they were hungry

starving at a point

when a chunk of Hippo meat

would save

or perhaps a nice roast joint

or was it just a game they played

the animal had no chance

swimming in the water

perhaps not a second glance

and bang it was all over

the great soul dead and gone

prop the poor mouth open

yea what a bloody con

This Hippo died for nothing

for a photo possibly

and these two wicked humans

guilty of infamy

they slaughtered a wise being

cut him down in cold blood

and stand their with their smiling faces

and the grief that now does flood

from onlookers who realize

the vileness of their act

their inexcusable conduct

and  to how we all react
