Circus in Belarus

They do not have laws to protect

any animals

apparently circus  therefore

can have any animals any at all

which the authorities seem to ignore

Hippo’s for example from Africa

from lakes so a water borne soul

can be imported into this republic

for its purpose to take on a role

of being a circus performer

how  really can it ever be

that a  large water beast

to be used as a  feast

for the eyes of an audience, we

have to experience good sense

and try

to do what is fair in our lives

and importing hippo’s from African Lakes

to perform in a circus

well why?

would anyone stoop to this level

its sick in so many ways, they

they  supposedly train them to stand

on their hind legs and walk

in the most laboured way

how could they possibly keep them

this is pure torture and they

are then doing tricks with balls on their snouts

someone must stand up and say

this is not what we ought to be doing

wild feral animals need

some kind of protection against

humans who exploit them

purely for their  own greed

a wild feral animal

it does not operate

in this way without torture

I am sure

and people who flock to this circus in Minsk

should really not enter that door

they do have to realise animals need

to be where they were in fact sent

to live out their wild lives  in their own domain

for that was, Nature’s intent

Circus life isn’t a place in fact where

animals ever should be

a travelling show

is not where animals go

and it ‘s wrong for  us ever to see

Belarus , does have to  realise

Hippo’s and others now must

be kept out of circus  there has to be law

passed now thats really more just
