War torn Syria one awful story of passion and woe

Imagine a world turn completely around

a boy and his mum and dad

and what we’ve found

is both of his parents

have died

its too much

to come to terms really

and really as such

he sleeps tween their graves

in the sand every night

their love was his  rock

but now in his sight

all he sees is the sun

and the sand and the pain

the misery and true his prostration again

theres an uneasiness

he feels he’s doomed

either side of him

his parents entombed

clearly he’s mortified

what can he do

he can’t bring them back

though of course he wants to

his life torn a’sunder

his torture is great

exposed to it all

what will be his fate

if he were older

perhaps he would fight

and hope for revenge

from this continual blight

that threatens his being

that cuts through his core

and leaves him so broken

like never before

punitive measures apparently are

taken by one side

as each now does scar

the future that crumbles

down into the sand

where in lies his parents

who might understand

the torment he’s feeling

the retaliative moves

the civil unrest

right across the roove’s’

which then blazes down

and the sand rises fast

where his shadow creeps forward

and is often cast

War the belligerant energy

rages

chivalry conquers the

darkest of pages

strategies, tactics

and embattled souls

who have little food

and much smaller roles

so many are starving

young children of war

of woe they must grow

in this violence ,and whats more

must try to succeed and encourage

and stand

in the path of the angels

on Syrian land

the boy sleeps a little

his parents will be

there in the sand for eternity

that loved ones are lost

breaks the heart of the strong

when its parents the youth

must perceive just how wrong

the elders have been

and the foreigners too

who have meddled and influenced

it seems as they do

created a miasma

of matter so dark

resulting in one after another

attack
