Man has reached beyond himself
into destructive pose
he’s killing everything about him
just beyond his nose
the forests he has decimated
the rivers they run dry
he has changed their length
and polluted them
and the fishes they did die

the oceans are his dustbin
everything he chucks
radio active chemicals
plastics yes he sucks!
imprisoning the Orca’s
and the Dolphins as if he
has every right to do this
when in fact it was not to be

blowing up great mountains
fracking deep deep down
causing major earthquakes
that risk another town
sink holes are developing
pollution everywhere
he’s killing other earthlings
in there billions
he won’t share

anything with anyone
the corporate state has come
slaughterhouses everywhere
the hunting of the dumb
the canned hunts and the trophies
sacrifice again
we are slaves to the corporates
being sloshed now down their drain

the world, all its resources
are murdered one by one
the trees have got our DNA
so what have we now done
torn a’sunder forests
killed off animals there
deserts are encroaching
on great plains of despair

soon there will be no people
and no animals at all
but the earth will keep on turning
look at Chernobyl
as a rule
the radioactive future
may be mighty long its true
but the planet has all the time in the world
its just the lot of you

have little time
the generations may come and may go
but in the end the earth will still
be here as well you know
