the fillet ,the rump

these are the corporates

that now do pump

millions into the

red meat brigade

and the hunting of wolves

with the dogs cavalcade

in livestock and trophy the management

seem

to be ignorant really

for what is their dream?

a land packed with cattle

their battle with wild

and the ranchers apparently

the pressure is piled

none of them can  see

the truth anymore

the natural environment

this lot ignore

they want great ranch spreads

to fulfil their great need

for steaks and ribs, every meal

where does it lead

aggression and warmongers

nobody sees

the sweetest wild wilderness

the froth of the trees

the sky and the wind

and the forests that roar

and the wolves and coyotes

who so want for more

the Bears and the Cougars

the Eagles the Owls

this is the environment

and its the howls

of the wolves that we yearn for

not big four by fours

they pollute at the root

though they may open doors

makes my blood boil

what they all go through

its bringing the country down

onto its feet

its the blood lust

to replace wolves with meat

to replace natural wilderness

with ranches galore

and millions of cattle

pollution and methane

and of course disease

short term the profit

for the few if you please

rolling in dollars

the rest on their knees

and the wild folk all gone

along with the Bee’s

this is their dreamworld

this is where they

trophy hunt all of us

at the end of the day
