Well first of all the women
shouldn’t have gone there
but it proves of course
that she didn’t expect to see
a chickens head
its eyes closed from the experience
deep fried in a batter
tragically
perhaps it wanted to get
into the fryer
perhaps it knew its head would
cause a stir
its wings would just be eaten
its legs would just be beaten
but its head on social media
would infer
that there are fewer checks
not chicks and that is why
heads and beaks and eyes
can now get through
robots are now cooking
and nobody is looking
no one cares why should they
very few
realise the killing fields are out there
millions of chickens dying by the hour
raised in cramped conditions
I see awful premonitions
the CAFO concentration camps
that tower
over all of us their gulleys running
with blood and snot and guts into the drain
where over zealous guards are using robot shards
and slaughtering the masses once again
the clucking it soon ceases
they cut into many pieces
and all they feel is unbelievable pain
