“Faith” she had some but they had no awareness and no compassion

A mare with her foal
were being unloaded along with some others
into a field
this happened in Wicklow on Sunday
inside the truck she concealed
herself she just wouldn’t come forward
and go to the field not at all
some energy clearly she must have picked up on
she was there for the long haul
but the handlers were not
they were eager
to get shot of her in a flash
they punched and the pummelled her
but she wouldn’t move
so they treated her like so much trash
they got in the van and drove forward
she catapulted right out
they then set about her kicking and punching
trying to hurt her no doubt
this was a mare with her baby
in front of her baby they beat
bruised her and cut her and made her cry out
and stomped very hard on her feet
brave louts these yobs from the gutter
to take their frustrations on her
to hurt her so much she had to be killed
and her foal has these thoughts now to stir
inside him forever
imagine the pain of seeing your mother attacked
seeing her beaten hearing her crying
knowing that it was a fact
these yobs from where ever
they thought they were clever
they beat up a mother
protecting her foal
what ignorant brutes
barbaric off shoots
trolls clearly without a soul
the gardai are making enquiries
there’s quite a reward for those who
carried out this vile and darkest of crimes
on a mare that was loving and true
